An all day festival in Lowell happening at two different house venues that are conveniently located right next door to each other. It’s an all day BBQ with music kicking off at 1:30 and ending at around midnight. Lineup is pretty killer, there’s a lot of bands (touring and local to New England) that makes for quite a lineup.

I haven’t updated for a while because my computer up and died last week, no warning and no idea what happened, was working fine about 20 minutes before. Mix that in with preparing for a move, and spending the weekend with the Clips who just got back from tour, it’s safe to say I’ve been less than productive.
But now for the good stuff, apparently next week’s show at the Bank of America Pavilion hasn’t been selling enough tickets because today’s daily groupon deal is for half off tickets. $20 for a $40 ticket! Limit to 4 a piece, buy em now before the deal ends.
I won’t be buying because the show is on Tuesday the 6th and I have work all week, but maybe you’re not so unlucky?
During the month of September the Harvard Film Archive will be showcasing the spirit of punk DIY culture through several films including Times Square, Return of the Living Dead, Suburbia, as well as many other classics and shorts all in the same fashion. Not sure how to ask out the punk girl at the crepes place? Now’s your chance. LOLZ
It’s a dreary, rainy Monday in Boston, but the music gods are shining in JP tonight over at the ‘Whitehaus’. Touring bands Giving Up & Putting Out will be accompanied by local acts Kal Marks and Saralee.

Some of these are pretty good/funny..
There’s some new sounds that will be hitting the Boston area in the coming months, and the early echoes are very promising. ‘Squall’ is a Boston based band that’s just starting to form and have recorded a quick teaser as a two piece band. The band will soon be adding a third member to fill out the spacious landscape they’ve begun to create.
With vocals in the field of Ian Curtis, explosive, yet airy drums, and a guitar tone that’s pretty much indefinable, there’s a lot to be curious about for the future of these new sounds.
